Solid episode. I did like the last 15 minutes a lot but the rest was alright. It seems this was the episode that sets up the last 2 for the mind blowing conclusion I'm assuming is coming. Great to see 2012 Rust and Marty working together next week. In the preview, Marty sees something that he obviously doesn't like and I bet it has something to do with his oldest daughter. Another thing I've been thinking about is that The Yellow may not be an actual person but just a mythical figure so to speak. I mean who walks around calling themselves 'The Yellow ?' I'm not sure if they'll catch the person or persons responsible for the murders because of that. Anyway, I'm probably wrong and need to reevaluate my ideas on this show during the week. *How much better is this Beth than TWD Beth? Much hotter *When Rust told that lady she should kill herself, it reminded me of when Walt told Jesse he killed Jane. The line delivery was so cold and I loved it.

Ugh. Welp now we know the story behind the fall out between Rust and Marty. I had a feeling it was going to be something along those lines. And I know Marty's wife was in her own world of revenge but Jesus what a bitch.
It's wild watching Rust get confessions out of people. He does a great job at pushing the right buttons and then throwing it back in their face. My jaw dropped when he said "You should kill yourself the first chance you get." Yeah what Johnny said....so cold and vicious.
I'm really interested to see how this is going to wrap up.

If you get the chance you should kill yourself. Perfect. I use that line every day to people though so no big deal. I found some pretty interesting behind the screen pics. Some are a bit spoilery maybe. They're creepy as fuck.

Here's my prediction on how it will end for Rust and Marty
In ep 107 the black lady (lets call her Rosa Parks) says death isn't the end of it or something close to that. This seems to imply that 1 or both of them will die Sunday. In my opinion if 1 of them were to die I think it would be Rust. The case has been bugging him since 2010 so I can see him trying anything (like interrogating the sheriff on the boat) to get the spaghetti monster aka the landscaper aka Errol.

I just finished watching the finale and I really liked it. I know it was a pretty straightforward finale but so was the whole show up to that point. I never really bought into all that supernatural stuff or The Yellow . So I was quite glad they didn't go all supernatural in the finale since I think that would've been just plain weird. My favorite part of the finale was the last 10 mins with Rust and Marty outside in the hospital just talking. The thing that stuck out to me the most was the way Rust was feeling. Throughout the whole series he was always a pessimist about life and humans in general. But at the end he says "You're looking at it wrong. The sky thing. Once there was only dark. If you ask me the light's winning." He finally came around after surviving the attack from Errol then being in a coma and now he basically has optimism to a certain degree. Sort of like an allusion. Another thing I found to be quite interesting was Carcosa. First off, the place itself was something I've never seen a tv show or movie. Secondly and more importantly, Rust never really talked about his daughter in the previous 7 episodes, only mentioning her briefly, but he says he felt her while laying in Carcosa with a knife wound in whatever state of mind he was in. It's kinda funny that the place he felt her presence was in Carcosa, the place he was chasing so to speak. TIME IS A FLAT CIRCLE kind of. In 1995 while checking out Reggie Ledoux's house Rust and Marty both split up and Reggie got a bullet to the head courtesy of Captain America Marty Hart. Except this time while they both split up and checked different parts of the property and then nearly killed later on, Rust puts a bullet into Errol's head. The important thing to remember though is that they only got their man and never will get everyone else involved. Damn Tuttles got away. But what was really great in my opinion, was that after everything that has happened between these two men over the 17 years, is the fact that they were willing to put lives on the line for each other. Marty saving Rust and Rust saving Marty seemed very fitting. I have no idea what season 2 will be about but if I could have one wish granted it would be to have Lisa and those tig ole bitties in it somehow. Anyways, The McConaissance will roll on when MM picks up his award at the Emmys for best actor in a mini series. I hope Woody gets some love too. What a great 1st season.

OMFG.
That's all I have to say at this moment regarding the finale. I am still trying to process. I spent the whole time at the House of Horrors with my hands clasped around my mouth. I had red marks on my face by the time that whole thing was done. That was fucking CREEPY CREEPY CREEPY.
Fuck I am watching this whole thing again starting like now.
After I completely process.
Jesus.
