I HATE catfish. It is fucking VILE. Freshwater fish in general is nasty. But I'm a seafood junkie in general. When I'm in Florida it's all I eat. You can get fresh dolphinfish down there and OMG blackened dolphin tacos and a cold beer is a special little slice of heaven.
Before you freak out, dolphinfish is mahi mahi, not actual dolphin. For some reason that's what they call it down there.
First meal on the coast is always oysters tho. One to two dozen raw on the half shell and a pint of Guinness. Fuck. Yes.
Oh, wait, this was NASTY food...
Ostakaka. Swedish curd cake. Shit is fucking repulsive. God fucking awful. Baby vomit with sugar and milk.

Yeah the ONLY seafood I don't like (that I have tried) is most fish and Octopus. LOVE raw oysters.

I like most saltwater fish. Blackened or grilled. I like fried fish but it doesn't really taste like fish IMO.

Swordfish, mahi mahi, shark,(fresh) tuna, and salmon don't have that taste. I think of what most people call "fishy" as being a freshwater trait. And I agree, I don't care for it either.

Octopus is repulsive though. Squid too. I can stomach calamari but it tastes more like fried breading so the taste is masked.
Blood sausage sounds awful but I've never tried it. Haggis sounds wretched but kind of reminds me of a Chinese dumpling. Very bland.
I don't think I could bring myself to eat Rocky Mountain oysters.

Never had squid outside of calamari but I love calamari. Blood sausage isn't actually blood though, right? It's actually something else? No idea what Haggis is. And no bull balls please.

Walleye is so mild it barely tastes like anything. Paddle fish dipped in butter is also super mild. Catfish is fishy if it isn't cleaned right away and properly and if it is to big it is oily - which is just disgusting to the max. I've had trout and bluegill and stuff like that. It is also mild. I'm not a fan of fish of any kind. The saltwater fish I've had was fishy to me. bleck. I wouldn't touch an oyster with a ten foot pole - nor raw fish. I'm quite sure I'm the pickiest person here and yet I'm completely baffled at some of the things that Wendy doesn't like. . Black eyed peas?

Lots of steamed squid in Vietnamese cuisine. Found that out the hard way. Haggis: chopped sheep intestines with barley and onions wrapped in a sheep stomach and boiled. And I think authentic German blood sausage is made with blood. You just can't sell it that way by FDA standards. Same way American Jagermeister doesn't have deer's blood in it but you can get the original recipe in Germany

Huge fuckers. I'll watch someone cut into it and two seconds later the hole their fork left has filled with water. That shit just tastes like mud. Barf. But sushi and oysters are so damn good.
