Ok soooooo.......yeah best part was the return of Carol and the arrival of Abraham and co.
Yeah ok it was a decent episode....but just so much randomness. I know they can't dive deep like they did last week with Carl and then with Michonne. Too many characters to waste the whole back half like that. I know they needed a speed up episode to get us to the point coming up....somewhere....but I could have watched last night with a room full of yappers and not missed a thing.
And oh yeah....Lizzie's a psycho freak. I really thought she was gonna kill Judith.

I loved this episode. It was jam packed. I knew Tyreese had Judith when he was walking in front of Lizzy and Mika and I was really happy when he turned around with her in his arms. I still think her time will come (and almost did from crazy Lizzy holding her hand over her mouth) but I am glad she made it a little bit longer. Lizzy killing the bunnies was a tad bit psycho. Something is going to go down with those girls and it's not going to be good. The whole first part with Beth talking made me want to barf, for real. I cannot stomach her. When she was talking to her journal over the opening sequence I told Tim that I hoped that meant her time was up soon. I also wanted the walker that Daryl killed to bite her. I am a bad person. , oh well. Just some people you cannot stand and she is one of them. When she stopped by the tracks and was loudly crying I thought, COME on!! Carol looked awesome. I wasn't expecting to see her so soon but I am glad she showed up and when she did. I thought it was awesome that Ty hugged her and you could see her recoil a bit like WTF? I wonder what Rick is going to say when he sees her again. Maggie, Sasha and Bob grouping was odd but still interesting. I don't really get what Bob was so happy about? Maybe just enjoying the outdoors? He said it wasn't just from being alive so I don't know. But he wasn't as annoying this episode either to me. At least he didn't let them split up and he helped when Maggie said she had to know who was on the prison bus. I was bummed that not one of the prison bus walkers even looked remotely familiar to me. I was trying to figure out if someone from the prison got bit/turned on the bus or if the bus got overrun since none of them looked familiar but then Maggie said something like "They had the bus and they got away..." So I guess they were all from the prison. I guess I forgot/didn't realize that Glenn didn't know about Hershel. I thought that was a bit odd. I was happy he rescued Tara, who wasn't so annoying this episode. Made me laugh when she told Glenn "why would you want my help, I'm a piece of shit." I wonder how Maggie and Michonne will react to the fact that Glenn rescued her being from the governor's group and all. The ending was so fucking awesome. At first I didn't realize that the military vehicle had "just pulled up". I thought it was just a different angle or something so when Tara looked up and said "enjoy the show, assholes?" and it showed Abraham, Rosita, and Eugene I had a bit of a fan girl moment. They looked so true to their comic counterparts in that moment and I loved it. I wasn't expecting them to show up so soon, that is for sure. And I am super excited to see what they will bring to the table.

Yeah I totally see Lizzie going the twins route from the comics. Again sorry dee. I found it funny that when Tyreese left them....he gave the baby to the one who should have had the gun and the gun to the one who should have had the baby. Although jeez....Lizzie with a baby OR a gun has proven to be scary either way. AND BETH!!! YES!!!! Ugh I thought this episode was going to be just Daryl and Beth and then Maggie and co.....so I thought there was going to be more Beth throughout. I made the comment last night...."11 minutes in and she's already annoying me." I have always been pretty indifferent when it came to Beth. But last night she REALLY showed to me that Emily Kinney is not really that good of an actor. IMO at least. And yeah the crying thing annoyed me too. I don't know why because I know she is in shock and mourning right now, I know she JUST lost her dad....but it just came across as....annoying. I really like Bob. I am interested to see where his character is going to go. I too was taken by surprise regarding Glenn not knowing about Hershel. It didn't even hit me that he didn't know. Then I thought about it, he was in the prison getting over the sickness during most of the events that happened outside. He didn't come out until they were in full battle mode. So yeah, makes sense. But still surprising none-the-less. And again, I agree on Tara. She's easier to take when she has been humbled. Her whole I'm The Shit attitude in her first few episodes were grating on me. Telling The Gov to "pound it".....ugh....I like this other Tara much better. It will be interesting to see how she is accepted into the group. More to see how she deals with her guilt. On Talking Dead they talked about how they made sure to have Abraham and co exactly mirror the entrance they had in the comics. Right down to the way they stood and the way they held their weapons. I was never SO INTO the comics to have remembered that....but it WAS eerily familiar when they did it. Pretty cool...

Lizzy! OMG - she was gonna suffocate poor little Judith! It is a very interesting side arc with her and it isn't rushed. I like it. I have mixed feelings on Judith. I'm glad she is alive of course but I know she must die eventually and it will be harder later - or maybe they'll come up with another solution for her??? I was so aggravated with Ty previously because I liked him so much in the comics and he is not the same on TV but he was great last night. At first I thought WTF - don't leave the little girls in the woods but a) it is important that he finds more adults if he wants them all to survive long term and b) that woods scene was such a powerful one that I can't begrudge it. Beth. :sigh: I was slightly annoyed by the narrative. Really annoyed by the rest of it. I've determined that my problem with Beth is the actress. She is not a good actress - at all. Good to see Carol!!! So awkward when she walked up. With both Lizzy and of course Ty. I credit her for saving Judith or Lizzy would have suffocated her or left her for the walkers. Maggie/Sasha/Bob - good action etc. Nothing memorable really but I enjoyed it. Bob and Sasha have good chemistry - not romantic but just work well together. Glenn - I liked him more this episode. He's a good guy. Wish he wasn't because I'm bored of sickly wussy Glenn. Badass move to bust out of there in that riot gear though. He upped my like for Tara about 95%. I thought they also worked well together on screen. Abraham is here. Great entrance too Some zingers in the script lately. I kind of like that. So Rick, Daryl, and Maggie are the only one's that know about Carol's banishment and why right?

Carol is a full on psycho, she tried to kill Beth with a walker bomb just because she got close to Derle. She didn't put this guy out of his misery because she KNEW he would come back and get Beth. Plan almost worked to.
