Really though if there's one trend of this show it's that they take too long for everything. They spent too long at the farm. They spent too long at the prison. Now they're spending too long getting to the Hunters arc. Pretty par for the course.

Now they're spending too long getting to the Hunters arc. Pretty par for the course. If you take each episode individually for what it's worth...it's still entertaining to watch. But as a whole, yeah they drag shit out a bit too long in most arcs. The farm to me wasn't that long, just because at the time I had not read the comics and I had no idea they ever planned on LEAVING there. Hell I was still just getting to know the show. All I KNEW was the farm since the farm was where they were when I started watching. But a season and a half at the prison? Yeah it was a long arc in the comics...but....yeah. And now.....wandering around....they might as well be zombies themselves. Hell maybe that's what they are striving to make it look like. Kinda like what you said already..... I can appreciate the artistic value of it, but OK WE GET IT.

The only thing I thought drug was Woodbury/governor/Andrea. The ending was great but for the most part Woodbury was boring as hell to me.

Walk With Me is one of my least favorite episodes of all time. I LOVE The Gov. But yeah, the only thing that I really enjoyed in Woodbury was Milton. And I thought he was a CREEP'S CREEP at first. Ah I miss Milton.

I like the idea of them being split off into several sub-groups now. This has created a new dynamic with new situations that we probably would not see if they were all traveling together. That's what season's 1-3 were like. "Hey guys- a few of us gotta go out on a mission and do this or that/save someone. BRB!" Then they leave, the shit hits the fan and then they come back for more shit to hit the fan. But these last few episodes have been about how they are forced to adapt and survive in smaller numbers, which a lot more challenging physically and mentally. But they'll all make it to Terminus before the season is up, run into The Hunters, then Beth or Bob or Sasha will get eaten and then we'll wait for season 5. Anyway, I like this development because it gives me, a fan, some measure of hope that they will all reunite again. Them being at the prison didn't really give me any hope because we all knew that there was going to be some type of catastrophe (walker flu, ) and then we all knew that this would roll right into the Governor fucking their shit up with a tank. At least this time, there's a bit of an unknown factor happening between now and cannibal time.
