Anyone find it contradictory and puzzling how Bob didn't want to leave Maggie all alone yet he was quite happy buggering off and leaving a sure thing behind ?

Maggie is hotter than Sasha simple as that. I'm so happy Bob didn't die this episode, he's such a cutey. Derle is in with the cool kids and Beth is gone for now. This was a good episode.

But Maggie's just not into Bob, whereas Sasha was ready to open up like a daffodil in the spring sunshine, spreading her petals for her stigma to receive Bobs alcoholic pollen.

You telling me you don't got for what you can't have? I don't think I'd be able to turn down Sasha's petals though...

I think his primary goal is to get to Terminus and since Maggie is going there he followed her.

It's like there is no second half of season 4. They're using 8 episodes to set up for season five. Why didnt they just do what they're are gonna do in five now? Waste of half a season. Worst show on television. Maggie is hot.

I'm disappointed in Gimple and his fellow writers. These past few episodes have been a bigger slap in the face than Dexter's final season. I actually prefer the Telltale game at this point.

I guess I am in the minority this week but I actually liked this episode. Mostly because of Bob and Sasha to be specific. I have liked Bob from the beginning once I got over him being COMPLETELY different from the comic and books. And I have actually NOT liked Sasha at all until the last couple of episodes.....and this episode sealed the deal that I have changed my mind about her. I also loved the mini-flashback at the beginning with Bob wandering around alone and being taken in by the group....vs the end when he was wandering around alone again and was re-found by some of the same group. Bob you don't have to be alone anymore. God I hope he doesn't turn out to be a weirdo of some sort. REALLY interested to see where things go with Daryl and this weird group of whoever they are. He's obviously got something up his sleeve. Hell, if he would have reacted the way I am sure he WANTED to react he would have been dead right then and there and he knew it. Better to play it smart.

Worst show on television. Maggie is hot. Isn't that kind of the point, tho? After the structure of the prison, the aftermath is... nothing. Wandering. Surviving. Muddling through. Remember the beginning of season three how everyone was like "Why didn't they show is how they wandered around through the winter?" Now they're showing us what that's like. Mere survival. Sometimes that's what life in a ZA would be like.

Was the leader of the group that Daryl met the same guy from the porch that Rick was about to snuff in 4x11?

When I know more about the people it gives the action parts more depth for me. I also like all the little mini-arcs and thinking about how they all might get wrapped up.

That's all fine but you don't need an entire episode of Beth and Daryl looking for booze and then him going off on her for two minutes at the end of the episode. It was 35 minutes of them doing nothing and a story they could've done in half an episode and then use the other half to develop someone else's story. Too much time of literally nothing happening.

This was my problem with the Bethyl episode. I LOVED the last 15 minutes....it's the only reason the episode was good for me. It took way too long for the lead up to Daryl's blow up. Don't get me wrong, I like the dramatic stuff about this show more than anything....but it just doesn't feel like it used to. Back in season 2. And before any of you say anything about the soap opera feel of season 2.....I'm not even talking about that. I just think the show was better written back then. I want an episode like Clear again. And shit that WAS Gimple. And season 3!

That first episode with Beth and Daryl was one of the weakest I agree. that one I could have done without. I enjoyed it well enough when I was watching it but when I think of it as one of a limited number of episodes we get - then it feels like such a waste.

Agreed on that episode. It was overindulgent to the Beryl fandom. That should have been a multiple arc storyline that cut back to either Tyrese and Carol (the Daryl Carol juxtaposition would have been good) or Glenn/Tara/Abe/Rosita/Eugene. Feels like it's been a LONG time since we've seen them.
